In October 2016, Dr. Madhushankar, Mr. Krishnamoorthy, and Dr. Arunandhi Chelvan establishes the Erode Runners Club with the goal of inspiring the people of Erode to participate in marathon races began with a modest group of ten runners and went on to motivate hundreds more to participate in marathons around the nation. Today, more than 200 runners actively participate in running and fitness activities as part of the Erode Runners Club’s lifestyle habit. We hope to encourage a fit and active lifestyle through our club, as well as enduring friendships and a feeling of community.

In the bustling city of Erode, amidst the hustle and bustle of everyday life, a group of like-minded individuals came together with a shared love for running. What started as a few friends hitting the streets soon blossomed into a full-fledged movement. Inspired by the transformative power of running, the Erode Runners Club was born.
Through various charitable initiatives and outreach programs, we strive to give back to those in need and create a brighter future for generations to come. Whether it’s organizing charity races or volunteering our time and resources, we believe in the power of running to effect change and create lasting social good.
